Practice cancelled today, due to rain.
The last big event of the year is in two weeks.
Please visit our Forum:Events if you're planning to go to Oktoberfest, or if you're interested in going.
The BBGC runs the realm of Rhovanion, a Bloomington, IN chapter of the national medieval combat society, Belegarth. We fight every weekend with foam-padded weapons in Bryan Park, simulating dark-ages style combat in a fun, fast-paced, hard-hitting sport.

Oktoberfest (10/5-10/9) Planning!
From 10/5-10/9, one of the biggest fighting events around occurs at Stonehouse Park in Earlville, IL. That's right -- Oktoberfest 2011 is almost upon us. If you're planning on going, or if you would like to go, check out the relevant thread on our forum under the Events heading (link below). We've already got several people going, and we will try to help find/rent camping gear and get rides for anyone else. We'll talk about this on Sunday at practice, but start thinking about your Oktoberfest plans now.

The IU Student Involvement Fair is on Wednesday. It's four hours long (11-3), and we need people to help work the booth. Who's up for some recruitment for the realm? http://homepages.indiana.edu/web/page/normal/19401.html
