Annual Dues and Group T-shirts!
Hi everyone!
It's the time of year again where we're asking for annual dues of $10 to help replenish the group's equipment and advertising funds. Dues-paying members are granted the right to vote in the election of the group's officers every winter. Students are not asked to pay dues. The Annual Dues go towards replenishing the First Aid Kit, printing expenses for fliers and ads, group equipment (like the sign and cones), and other fees/expenses the group incurs across the year.

The shirts and hoodies are provided by on of our former fighters, Jacob, from The Vinyl Edge. Jacob is also responsible for our sweet group logo, which appears on the back of all the shirts.

Weather is predicted to be cool and windy. The park may be slightly muddy from recent rain. Prepare accordingly and we'll see you out there!

Oktoberfest (10/5-10/9) Planning!
From 10/5-10/9, one of the biggest fighting events around occurs at Stonehouse Park in Earlville, IL. That's right -- Oktoberfest 2011 is almost upon us. If you're planning on going, or if you would like to go, check out the relevant thread on our forum under the Events heading (link below). We've already got several people going, and we will try to help find/rent camping gear and get rides for anyone else. We'll talk about this on Sunday at practice, but start thinking about your Oktoberfest plans now.
